How the market splits

There are two jobs here. Fleetric does one of them.

Fleet dispatch operations in a GCC depot yard

Mandated tracking

Hardware and regulation. WASL, Asateel, RTA/SIRA and IVMS require an approved device or feed reporting to the regulator or site operator.

Profit intelligence

Software, not regulated. Fleetric reads the feed that device already produces and turns it into profit per vehicle, customer, project and site.

Per-vehicle profit

See which vehicles actually make money.

Fleetric allocates fuel, driver cost, insurance, depreciation and maintenance by km, hour or trip. What remains is real profit per vehicle, customer, project and site, ranked so the weakest performer is never a mystery.

Live tracking

Track the fleet with the phone you already have.

Every driver’s phone reports live location, trip status and ETA from day one. Add a GPS unit, OBD reader or dashcam only where the work needs it, or keep the tracker you already run.

AI document extraction

AI drafts the entry. A person confirms it.

Fuel receipts, invoices and toll statements are read automatically and matched to the right vehicle and trip. Human review remains in control, so a coordinator can manage more vehicles without increasing administrative workload.

Compliance awareness

Stay ahead of WASL, Asateel and RTA/SIRA.

Fleetric is not the regulator and does not replace mandated tracking. It reads the feed your approved device already produces and watches operating-card, permit and document expiry so a lapse never becomes a fine.

One operating system

Your fleet’s decisions, on one screen.

The fleet map, profitability ranking, drivers, trips, maintenance and documents your team already knows how to use, in one place.

Hardware, only where you need it

Start with the phone. Add GPS, OBD or dashcams when you are ready. All optional.

Every add-on reports into the same profit and compliance layer. No rip-and-replace.

FAQ

What do fleets ask before they switch?

How is profit per truck calculated?

Profit per truck is revenue minus fully-allocated cost. Fleetric takes each vehicle’s revenue and subtracts its fuel, driver salary, insurance, depreciation and maintenance, allocated by km, hour, trip or a fixed rule, to show the true profit, not just utilisation.

Do I need to install new hardware?

No. Fleetric works with the tracking you are already required to run, whether WASL, Asateel, RTA/SIRA or IVMS. It reads that mandated feed (and phone-GPS, fuel-card and toll CSVs) rather than adding another device.

How much does Fleetric cost?

Pricing is per truck per month and comes in below half the cost of a dispatch coordinator (~AED 7–8k/month in the UAE). One coordinator running Fleetric can manage more trucks, so it pays for itself in labour leverage before fines avoided.

What is the best fleet management software in the UAE?

It depends on the job: Asateel-listed suppliers such as Cartrack, Location Solutions and Falcon Trackers install the mandated tracking hardware, while Fleetric is the software layer that reads that feed and computes profit per truck. Our comparison at /resources/best-fleet-management-software-uae walks through the verified differences.

Is Fleetric compatible with WASL and Asateel tracking?

Yes. Fleetric reads the feed produced by your WASL-connected or Asateel-approved device rather than replacing it. Fleetric is not itself an approved OBU supplier or installer; the mandated hardware still comes from the official lists, and Fleetric adds the profit and document-expiry layer on top.

Does it support Arabic and AED/SAR?

Yes. Fleetric is bilingual English and Arabic with full right-to-left support, and works in AED and SAR with kilometres. It is built in the Gulf for the Gulf, including UAE data residency and in-Kingdom hosting for Saudi Arabia.
