Comparison
Fleetric vs Fleetio for GCC fleets (2026)
Fleetio is a maintenance-first platform ("Fleet maintenance that thinks ahead", 1,000,000+ assets): excellent work orders and parts, with tracking supplied by third-party integrations. Its pages show no GPS of its own, no customer invoicing, no Arabic (EN/ES/FR) and no GCC compliance content, checked August 2026. Fleetric is the complete fleet platform for the Gulf: tracking, maintenance, compliance awareness, ZATCA-ready invoicing and per-vehicle P&L in one, in Arabic and English.
Feature and compliance comparison
| Dimension | Fleetric | Fleetio |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | The complete fleet platform built for the Gulf: operations, compliance awareness and the money layer in one, hardware-optional. | "Fleet maintenance that thinks ahead" — maintenance-first fleet management powering 1,000,000+ assets, with an AI service-advisor layer (fleetio.com, checked August 2026). |
| Live tracking | Built in: phone-GPS from day one, or reads your existing trackers’ mandated feed. No third-party tracking subscription required. | No GPS of its own: its map and location history are fed by third-party telematics integrations (Geotab, Samsara, Motive, Verizon Connect and others per fleetio.com/integrations, checked August 2026), each a separate subscription. |
| Maintenance depth | Maintenance schedules, inspections (DVIR-style), document and permit expiry with reminders. Deep enough for GCC contractor fleets; narrower than a decade-old maintenance specialist. | The category benchmark: work orders, parts and inventory, PM schedules, an 80,000+ shop network, warranty management (fleetio.com/features, checked August 2026). |
| Money layer: invoicing + per-vehicle P&L | Core product: ZATCA-ready invoicing plus per-vehicle, per-customer, per-project P&L. Revenue lands against the vehicle that earned it. | Cost side only: expense tracking, cost per mile, TCO. Accounting integrations export costs one way (QuickBooks, Sage and others); no customer invoicing and no revenue capture appear on its features or integrations pages (checked August 2026). |
| GCC compliance & languages | WASL, Asateel, RTA/SIRA awareness with dated reviews; AED/SAR; portal EN/AR; driver app EN/AR/UR/HI; in-Kingdom hosting on Enterprise. | App languages are English, Spanish and French per its own help centre; no WASL, Asateel, SIRA or ZATCA content found anywhere on fleetio.com (checked August 2026). |
| Pricing | Published: Starter AED 120, Pro AED 95 per truck/month, Enterprise by quote (fleetric.io/pricing). | Published: Essential $4, Professional $7, Premium $10 per vehicle/month (annual, 5-asset display basis), with core features tiered (fleetio.com/pricing, checked August 2026). |
| Company maturity | Early stage: in daily production with one construction fleet in Abu Dhabi. | Established US SaaS: 1,000,000+ managed assets and 4.8/5 across 1,000+ reviews, per its own homepage (checked August 2026). |

Honestly
Where Fleetric is limited today
- Fleetric is early stage, with one production fleet. Fleetio has a decade of maintenance depth and a shop network Fleetric does not attempt to match.
- For a US fleet whose only need is workshop management, Fleetio is the safer pick. This comparison is about GCC fleets that also need tracking, compliance and billing.
- Fleetio may offer more than its public pages show; where we could not verify a capability, the cell says so rather than guessing.
FAQ
Fleetric vs Fleetio for GCC fleets (2026)
Does Fleetio work in the UAE or Saudi Arabia?
Nothing prevents using it, but its own pages show no Arabic (EN/ES/FR only), no GCC compliance content and no regional presence (checked August 2026). Tracking requires a separate third-party telematics subscription on top, and invoicing is not part of the product.
Is Fleetric a maintenance system like Fleetio?
Maintenance is one pillar of Fleetric (schedules, inspections, document expiry), not the whole product. Fleetio goes deeper on workshop workflows; Fleetric adds what Fleetio’s pages do not show: built-in tracking, GCC compliance awareness, Arabic, invoicing and per-vehicle profit.
Can I run Fleetio and Fleetric together?
Technically yes: they overlap on maintenance but solve different jobs, and some fleets keep a workshop tool while adopting a profit layer. For most GCC contractor fleets the practical question is simpler: one platform that does tracking, compliance and billing, or three subscriptions that do not talk to each other.
