Samsara is a global operations platform: AI dash cams, telematics hardware and safety workflows at $1.99B ARR. What its own pages do not show, checked August 2026: customer invoicing, per-vehicle profit, Arabic, or any Gulf office, WASL or Asateel capability. Feature and compliance comparison

Dimension Fleetric Samsara
What it is The complete fleet platform built for the Gulf: tracking (hardware-optional), maintenance, compliance awareness, invoicing and per-vehicle P&L in one, in English and Arabic. "The Connected Operations Platform": AI dash cams, vehicle gateways, telematics, safety and compliance workflows for large fleets (samsara.com, checked August 2026).
Money layer: invoicing + per-vehicle P&L Core product: ZATCA-ready invoicing (structured invoices, QR, previous-invoice-hash chaining) plus revenue-minus-allocated-cost P&L per vehicle, customer, project and site. No invoicing, billing or accounting features are listed on samsara.com/products, and no job costing or per-asset profitability on its construction page (checked August 2026). It measures cost and utilization; it does not close the loop to revenue.
GCC compliance & presence Built for the region: WASL, Asateel and RTA/SIRA awareness pages with dated reviews, fines and document tracking, AED/SAR, and in-Kingdom hosting on Enterprise. No Gulf office on its contact page (SF, London, Atlanta, Amsterdam, Mexico City, Munich, Paris, Taipei, Bangalore). Not found on the official Asateel OBU supplier list (status 21/04/2026). Data residency pages describe US and EU hosting (all checked August 2026).
Arabic and workforce languages Portal in English and Arabic (RTL); driver app in English, Arabic, Urdu and Hindi. Driver app supported-language list has 13 entries and no Arabic and no RTL language (kb.samsara.com, checked August 2026).
Hardware & contract terms Hardware-optional: phone GPS, your existing trackers, or certified IVMS via partners on Enterprise. Monthly or annual terms; no multi-year lock-in, no penalty for shrinking the fleet. Own hardware ecosystem (gateways, AI cameras, asset trackers) installed per vehicle. Contract terms are not published on samsara.com; sales are quote-based (checked August 2026).
Pricing transparency Published on fleetric.io/pricing: Starter AED 120, Pro AED 95 per truck/month, Enterprise by quote. No prices published; samsara.com/pricing is a quote form behind a fleet-size selector (checked August 2026).
Company maturity Early stage: in daily production with one construction fleet in Abu Dhabi. Built by a founder with about two years in fleet telematics hardware. Public company (NYSE: IOT); $1.991B ARR, +30% YoY, per its Q1 FY2027 results (June 2026).

Pricing notes

  • Fleetric: Prices published; see fleetric.io/pricing (checked August 2026).
  • Samsara: Quote-based; no public price list (samsara.com/pricing, checked August 2026).

Honestly

Where Fleetric is limited today

  • Fleetric is early stage, with one production fleet. Outcome figures on this site are illustrative examples, not case studies.
  • If you need US FMCSA ELD compliance, AI dash cams or a global hardware ecosystem, Samsara is built for exactly that and Fleetric is not. This comparison is about GCC fleets.
  • Samsara may offer more than its public pages show; where we could not verify a capability, the cell says so rather than guessing.

FAQ

Fleetric vs Samsara for GCC fleets (2026)

Is Samsara available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia?

Its own contact page lists no Gulf office, its driver app lists no Arabic, and it does not appear on the official Asateel OBU supplier list (all checked August 2026). Regional availability, where it exists, is partner-mediated; the burden of proof sits with the vendor or partner proposing it.

Does Samsara do invoicing or per-vehicle profit?

Not that its public pages show: no invoicing, billing or accounting features are listed on samsara.com/products, and no per-asset profitability on its construction page (checked August 2026). That money layer is Fleetric’s core: ZATCA-ready invoicing and a P&L for every vehicle.

Can Fleetric read a feed from Samsara hardware?

Fleetric is built to read existing tracking feeds rather than install second devices. If your fleet already runs Samsara hardware, talk to us about the feed format in a demo; where a direct integration is not yet built, we say so rather than promise it.
