SecurePath

SecurePath is Dubai's SIRA-operated tracking platform, described by SIRA as a real-time, web-based GPS tracking and fleet management solution used to monitor and track vehicles. Vehicles in regulated categories such as rental cars, desert safari operations, cash transit and hazardous-materials transport report to it through SIRA-approved providers.

SecurePath is Dubai’s regulated tracking platform, operated under the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA). SIRA describes it as “a real-time, web-based GPS tracking and fleet management solution that is used to monitor and track vehicles” (sira.gov.ae, checked July 2026).

Which vehicles must report to SecurePath, and what does it cost?

Per the SIRA page, SecurePath’s scope covers regulated categories including rental cars, desert safari operations, cash transit vehicles and transport of hazardous materials such as chemicals, explosives, flammable liquids and petroleum. SIRA publishes its fees: a device approval certificate at AED 120, a basic subscription at AED 240 per license per year (minimum 50 licenses) and a premium subscription at AED 290 per license per year (minimum 25 licenses), inclusive of SIM and data.

SecurePath (Dubai, SIRA) and Asateel (Abu Dhabi, ITC) are separate regimes with separate approved-supplier lists; approval for one does not carry over to the other. Fleetric is not a SecurePath provider: it reads the tracking feed a fleet already runs and computes profit per truck on top. See the Asateel supplier article for how the two regimes differ.
