Bayan
Bayan is Saudi Arabia's electronic transport document (waybill), mandatory for land carriers since 1 March 2023 and issued through the TGA's Naql platform.
Bayan (Arabic: وثيقة النقل الإلكترونية بيان) is Saudi Arabia’s electronic transport document: the waybill a land carrier must issue for goods journeys. It became mandatory for land carriers on 1 March 2023 (regulation coverage: Zawya, checked August 2026) and is issued through the Transport General Authority’s Naql services gateway.
What does a Bayan waybill contain?
Per the same regulation coverage, the document carries sender and receiver data, shipment details, licensee data, costs, schedules, journey data and carrier data. In practice it is the digital paper trail for every commercial load moving by road in the Kingdom.
How does Bayan relate to WASL?
They sit on the same chain: integration vendors report that a truck cannot be issued Bayan waybills without an active WASL connection (vendor-reported), so a dead tracking link quietly stops the paperwork that lets the truck carry loads. The operating card carries the same dependency. The WASL platform guide maps how the three fit together.
Fleetric does not issue Bayan documents. It watches the tracking feed and the document expiry dates underneath them, so the compliance chain breaks on a dashboard alert instead of at a checkpoint.
