Naql

Naql is the Transport General Authority's services gateway in Saudi Arabia for licences, operating cards and Bayan waybills, migrating to LOGISTI.

Naql (Arabic: منصة نقل) is the Transport General Authority’s licensing and services gateway in Saudi Arabia. It is where a land-transport operator obtains its transport licences, operating cards and Bayan electronic waybills, the paperwork layer that sits on top of the WASL tracking layer.

What happened to Naql in March 2024?

In March 2024 the TGA announced the migration of Naql services to the LOGISTI platform, covering Land and Sea Transport, Bayan Documents, Cargo Documentation, Tajeer, City Entry and Receipt services (Saudipedia, checked August 2026). Operators may therefore encounter either name depending on which service has moved; the authorisations themselves, cards and waybills, are the same.

How do Naql, WASL and Bayan fit together?

WASL is the telematics link that streams a fleet’s tracking data to the TGA; Naql (now LOGISTI) is where the resulting permissions are issued; Bayan is the per-journey document that comes out of it. Integration vendors report that both operating cards and Bayan issuance depend on an active WASL link (vendor-reported). The WASL platform guide walks through the full chain.

Fleetric plugs in after all of this: it reads the WASL-connected feed and tracks document expiry, so the operator sees a lapse coming before the gateway refuses a renewal.
